Solid numbers for Obama in all five states.

  1. seem to be lower than several polls conducted week before last, and since Obama has had a significant bounce nationally, but has lost ground in Virginia where two polls showed him ahead much more than this, and lost ground in Ohio and Colorado. Solid numbers though yes. McCain can’t afford to split so many red states, and Pennsylvania seems to be solidly converging on its miniscule blue leanings as the targeted state moves out of McCains reach. Now if only Minnesota and Michigan would do the same…

  2. That’s Kerry states + IA + NM + CO + VA.

Chuck Todd was on Hardball today and said if any state is tied on election day, Obama’s ground game will win it for him.

As for Ohio, what can I say? Does there actually need to be another Great Depression for some of these people to get over their prejudices? Any white Dem would be winning this state by 3-4 points by now.

Chad, what’s the over under on Florida? Can he pull it off?
